Der Desiro MainLine ist eine elektrisch betriebene Desiro-Variante für den mitteleuropäischen Markt, die für den Regional- und S-Bahn-Verkehr bestimmt ist. Im Juni 2016 stellte Siemens den Mireo als Nachfolger des Desiro ML vor.
